Orchard Tarts is a small home bakery in Kingsley, Western Australia, selling limited weekly tart drops for local pickup. This policy explains what information we collect when you order from this website and how we use it.

What we collect

When you place an order or join a waitlist, we collect:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your phone number (if you provide one)
• Your order details — items, quantities, pickup day and time, and any notes you add

We do not collect or store your payment card details on this website.

How we use it

• To prepare your order and have it ready at your nominated pickup time
• To send you an order confirmation and pickup reminder by email
• To contact you if something changes with your order or a drop
• To manage our weekly baking quantities and stock

We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with marketers, and we do not use it for advertising.

Payments

Orders are currently paid at pickup. If online card payments are introduced, they will be processed securely by Stripe — your card details go directly to Stripe and are never stored on this website.

Where your information is stored

This website is hosted on secure cloud infrastructure and your order information is stored in an access-controlled database. Only the baker can view customer orders. Order confirmations and reminders are sent through our transactional email service.

How long we keep it

We keep order records so we can run the bakery and answer questions about past orders. If you'd like your details removed, just ask — see below.

Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Act, you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To do any of these, contact us via the Orchard Tarts Facebook page and we'll action it promptly.

Cookies

This website uses only the essential storage needed to keep your shopping cart working while you browse. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
